New Imp Colors

To celebrate our favorite little companion this month, we'll be releasing one new standard imp color per week, for a total of four new colors!

 With the new Hanami Dango, imps now possess a pastel variant! Each one is unique, spanning a wide variety of pastel color combinations and gradients.

Hanami Dango is now in stock at Dan's Dango, and can also be purchased in the Imp Training Camp event shop. 

The final upcoming new dango will also be available there upon release, so you may want to hang onto a few imp treats just in case!

Hello Burrowgatory!

We hope you've all enjoyed this year's harpup migration. The harpups have all rolled away until August of 2025, but they are always in our hearts!

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and patience with submissions being closed this weekend! We're refreshed and ready to tackle the design queue again, so submissions have reopened.

As always after a break, please limit yourself to no more than one submission in the queue at once as we work through the backlog.

Also, please don't forget that today is the last day to apply to be a Succubuns GA for the September-December season this year. We can't wait to see your application!

Succubuns Guest Artist Info

Hello, Burrowgatory!

Today is is an annual event known as the harpup migration. Towards the end of the summer as the tides shift, these cute little imps wiggle and roll their way from the Forneus Sea to distant caverns unknown, passing near the city of Burrowgatory on the way. For whatever reason, this day always seems to fall exactly on August 11th…

Starting at rollover on August 11th, you can complete the Harpup Migration errand to catch harpups.

Harpups are now also available in blue, purple, and melanistic!

I'm so very lucky to be able to call Yves my fiancé, and Succubuns is just as lucky to have him. Approving dozens of MYOs and prompts a day, helping countless players, managing sales, running the mod team, dealing with rules violations, maintaining and updating the website, proofreading new content... The amount of work and love he puts into Succubuns is staggering, and it isn't even his full-time job like it is for me! I may make all of the content for Succubuns, but I wouldn't have time to do even half of what I do if Yves wasn't doing everything he does.

If you enjoy Succubuns, please take a moment to recognize all of the unseen, unglamorous work Yves does every single day to keep things running smoothly. I made Succubuns for Yves, and he built the website for me—it's truly like our child together, and it would mean so much to me for the Succubuns players to love and appreciate him as much as I do! I'm so grateful for the life we have together, and for the game and community we've built here.

Happy birthday, Yves, and thank you for how much you give to me and to Succubuns!

Pedigree Imp Poll

Our on-site subscription service is still in the works, but has been delayed due to our main coder's schedule being unexpectedly full this summer. While we're waiting to bring back monthly pedigree imp suggestions and voting for our subscribers, we've prepared a poll of possible pedigree imps full of fall flavor!

Imp Training Camp

Though Hutch initially started the Imp Training Camp to try to compete against the newly opened Pedigree Pets shop, last year's event was such a success that they and Quince have decided to jointly host it again. Here, imp owners can make use of the treats, training equipment, and demonstrations provided by Hutch and Quince to train their imp companions to do all sorts of tricks—or at least, to stop misbehaving.

Imp Shaming Contest

Ah, imps... As much as we love our pets, sometimes they do the must frustrating or baffling things. Depending on the incident, there may not be anything we can do but turn our misfortune into comedy through imp shaming—taking photos of your imp with a sign detailing their crimes for others to laugh at.

New Pedigree Imp

This month has been especially busy for Quince, but she still managed to release this month's new pedigree imp, budrock, at Pedigree Pets! Tomodigi has been cycled out—so long, tomodigi.

...What do you mean, it's just a rock with eyes glued on? Clearly, it's an imp! Sure, it may not move, or eat, or show any sign of sentience... But it can love you all the same!

This month marks one year since Pedigree Pets opened for business! Did you miss out on any pedigree imps from the past year that you wish you could get your hands on? Now's your chance to bring a retired pedigree imp home!

When you open a Pedigree Pet Carrier from the Imp Training Camp event shop, you'll receive one random retired pedigree imp.

The Supporter Shop has been refreshed for the month! Show Succubuns your support and take home some extra goodies, such as items from the Imp Training Camp event shop and Wagashi to spend at Pedigree Pets.

Swimsuit Season

Thank you to everyone who filled out our Summer Feedback Form in June and July! We hope you all enjoyed the longer, quieter event, and feel refreshed and ready to jump into the Imp Training Camp.

The Swimsuit Season event shop will remain open until August 7th, at which point all remaining seashells will disappear.

Hello, Burrowgatory!

Today, we're very pleased to release the culmination of our past two months of work:

A New Design Guide

The Design Guide has been completely rewritten from scratch, fully illustrated with hundreds of reference images, and broken up into pages that cover each element of succubun design in detail.

This project was a massive undertaking to complete, but we know it was sorely needed, so we wanted to make sure to do it right! Novice artists and experienced succubun designers alike should be able to find helpful new explanations and examples in this guide.

In the past, some of the rules covered in this new Design Guide may have been difficult to enforce without visual examples, so please be aware that we will now be enforcing them consistently. If you draw or design succubuns, please at least take the time to skim through the images in these guides to familiarize yourself with this more comprehensive set of guidelines, and be sure to revisit any relevant pages when working on a new design!

We hope that you'll all find this to be an invaluable resource when drawing succubuns.
