Hello, Burrowgatory! Today, we're pleased to announce the addition of a new feature to Succubuns.

Titles

Titles are a new way to give a little extra personal flair to your buns! 

Each title applies a badge with a different icon, color, and descriptor to your succubun. The title that you pick to be your bun's primary title will show up below their name on the masterlist for all to see!

You can collect as many titles as you'd like on one bun to help describe what kind of character they are. To apply a title, simply open a Title item in your inventory and select which of your characters to use it on. Please note that these items are one-time use!

Once a title has been applied, you'll need to open your character's Titles page and select "Make Primary" in order to have it show up on the masterlist. Here, you can also Hide titles that you no longer want visible.

Please note that at this time, titles cannot be deleted from a character, and will only show up on the main masterlist and on the character's profile (not individual players' character collection pages). These are both things we're looking into adding in the future.

So Many Titles!

To give you plenty of options for all of your succubuns, we've released over 40 titles to start you off! Many of these titles are inspired by different places and characters in Burrowgatory, and can be found in the shops associated with them.

We've also added pronoun titles so that you can easily mark your characters' pronouns for all to see. These titles will be permanently housed in an upcoming new shop, but until that shop is released, you can find them in the Supporter Shop!

The Supporter Shop also carries the Supportive Title, which you can purchase for $10 USD to help support Succubuns.

Finally, you can purchase the limited Hedonist and Sinner titles with wicks in the All Sinners' Day event shop.

You can view a full list of titles, including previews of the badges they apply, in the Character Titles section of the Encyclopedia. We hope you're excited to pick out the perfect titles for all of your succubuns!

New Moderators

We're pleased to officially announce the addition of five new moderators to the Succubuns team! Please give a warm welcome to new art moderators Astarothe, Heelies, and princehoneytea, and new writing moderators Fire and BeananaBread.

Additionally, we're proud to officially promote ornamental to the role of of Assistant Admin, overseeing the writing moderators!

It's Burrowgatory's biggest celebration of the year!

All Sinners' Day

It's said that All Sinners' Day is the day when Burrowgatory's demonic patrons return to enjoy themselves among the civilization that they raised... To make them feel welcome, succubuns light up the caverns with thousands of candles to create a more Hellish atmosphere, and dress in all manner of devilish costumes.

All Sinners' Day is a holiday of revelry, debauchery, and excess, where succubuns are encouraged to indulge in their vices until they make themselves sick.

Check out the All Sinners' Day page for more information, and to learn how to collect wicks. The All Sinners' Day event will run until 11:00pm site time on October 31st.

Second Anniversary Advent Calendar

To celebrate Succubuns' Second Anniversary, we're thanking all of our wonderful players with the Second Anniversary Advent Calendar! Check in every day to receive an array of amazing rewards, including the exclusive Second Anniversary award on Succubuns' birthday, October 30th.

Make sure to check in for all thirty days of the advent to receive a bonus reward!

Burrowgatober

This daily art challenge will encourage you to practice your ink skills... In exchange for prizes, of course.

From October 1st to October 30th, we challenge you to spend at least 15 minutes a day creating a black and white ink drawings following that day's Burrowgatober prompt.

To celebrate Succubuns' second anniversary, we're going all out with a mega-sized free raffle!

Anniversary Adoptable Advent

If one set of daily surprises wasn't enough for you, we're also hosting an adoptable advent!

From October 19th through the 30th, look forward to the daily release of spooky and sinful designs by all your favorite Succubuns guest artists, as well as several new and returning special guests!

Individual previews for these designs will start going up daily starting on October 5th—make sure to follow Succubuns on Twitter or join the official Succubuns Discord server so you don't miss these teasers.

New Seasonal Drink

The Rabbit Hole is has added the Porto Drip to its autumn seasonal drink menu. Porto Drips can also be purchased with wicks in the All Sinners' Day event shop.

Drinking this strange but tasty concoction will allow a succubun to obtain our new seasonal trait: Melty.

New Imp Colors

Several new imps are now available in the fiendish color!

Demon Pepper Mochi are back in stock at Dan's Dango, only for the month of October. They can also be purchased with wicks in the All Sinners' Day event shop.

Additionally, candyl is now available in red, cyan, and magenta.

Pedigree Imp

Baaaphie can now be purchased at Pedigree Pets! Carousea has been cycled out—so long, carousea.

Monthly Supporter Boxes

The Supporter Shop has been refreshed for the month! Show Succubuns your support and take home some extra goodies, such as items from the All Sinners' Day event shop and Wagashi to spend at Pedigree Pets.

Collections & Recipes

Six new collections have been added, each one awarding a snazzy trophy for your profile!

As Mitarashi Dango is now part of the Dango Pro Vol. 1 collection, the Dango Head collection has been updated to require a Coconut Dango instead of a Mitarashi Dango. If you have already completed the Dango Head collection, you can click here before the end of October 2nd for a 50 carat refund.

To help you fill out your collections, we've also added a few new recipes!

Recipes for Coconut Dango, Goma Dango, Kinako Dango, and Hanami Dango have been added to Dan's Recipe Book. If you've already completed the prompt Dango 101, a button will be available to claim the additional recipes for free within the next few days.

Recipes for Black Sesame Paste, Kinako Powder, and Strawberry Powder have been added to the default list of recipes.

The recipe for Raindrop Mochi has been added to the Mochi Recipe Book, completing the first volume of twelve mochi. If you've already completed the prompt Mochi Master, a button will be available to claim the additional recipe for free within the next few days.

The recipe for Iris Coffee has been added to Hops' Recipe Book. If you've already completed the prompt Mixology 101, a button will be available to claim the additional recipe for free within the next few days.

Three new ingredients can now be found while running errands at the Grocery Store. The drop rates for Flour and Sugar have also been slightly increased to make it easier to craft foods that require them.

Finally, to help you use up some of your leftover ingredients, we've added four new desserts to the default list of recipes!

The October Monthly Prompt is now available.

Moderator Applications

In preparation for October's anniversary festivities, we're looking to add several new art and writing approval moderators to the Succubuns team.

Approval moderators work closely with the admin team to process the many creative works our players submit to Succubuns every day, and are the lifeblood of an art-based game like ours!

The responsibilities and requirements for each role are outlined on the corresponding application forms. You're welcome to apply for multiple positions, and may be hired to help with multiple roles (including Discord moderation) depending on your skills and experience.

Fall Guest Artist Pool

Thank you to everyone who applied to be a Succubuns guest artist for the September-December 2024 season. We got so many amazing applications, and it was hard to narrow it down!

Due to the volume of applications received, we cannot issue responses to everyone who applied, but please know that every single one was reviewed and considered, and we invite you to apply again for the next GA opening in December. There have been tons of great artists in every application window who we'd love to see submit again!

This season, we're pleased to welcome CHR0NOSTASIS and Hacuubii to the team as new trial GAs. Chronostasis has been designing succubuns since very near the beginning of the game, and you may recognize Hacuubii as a special guest artist from our First Anniversary Advent and Sweet & Spicy Advent events!

This season's GA team will also be welcoming back roromimii, miya, sxilin, bearwithglasses, Kunamei, Chaunter, arasukai, Veil, bunbee, and Avyrice.

They're all hard at work preparing amazing designs, and we hope you're looking forward to seeing them!

Imp Shaming Contest

The Imp Shaming Contest brought us a treasure trove of hilarious imp shenanigans! From these numbers, we've selected 10 finalists to receive an Adoption Voucher, so that they can subject their succubuns to even more impish shenanigans.

Toy Fair

As summer winds down and most of Burrowgatory takes some time to relax before the revelry of October, the toy industry and toy hobbyists are abuzz in anticipation of the yearly Toy Fair. This convention has become the premiere event for all types of toy companies to show off their upcoming products, just in time for people to decide how to spend their upcoming All Sinners' Day bonuses.

This year, the Toy Fair is a plot event, meaning that you can play through the event story to earn rewards and learn more about the world of Burrowgatory. New chapters of the story will release each week, with the final installment releasing on September 22nd.

Seasonal Drinks

Autumn seasonal drinks are now back at The Rabbit Hole!

Hops has also added a new drink to the autumn menu: Frayviation.

Drinking one of these strange but tasty concoctions will allow a succubun to obtain a new seasonal trait: Tattered.

In addition, the Heavenly Embassy is now stocking Bitter Ambrosia for the season, allowing cherubuns to obtain autumn seasonal traits.

New Imp Colors

Several new imps are now available in the plush color!

Teddy Bear Mochi is back at Dan's Dango for the month of September. It can also be purchased with spools in the Toy Fair event shop.

In addition, bearly is now available in pink, blue, and natural!

New Pedigree Imp

Marroth can now be purchased at Pedigree Pets! Mimikeeper has been cycled out—so long, mimikeeper.

The poll for October and November's pedigree imps is still available if you haven't voted, or would like to change your vote!

Heavenly Door Reminder

The end of September will mark the start of the year's final quarter, which means that time is running out before the refresh of once-yearly activities such as the Heavenly Door.

Some of the virtues that are required to complete this activity can be obtained at any time, but others require progress to be made over an extended period. This means that if you don't begin progress on these tasks by the end of this month, you will be unable to obtain a Heavenly Key to create a cherubun this year—though any work invested will still give you a head start on obtaining one next year!

In case you find yourself unable to get your hands on a particular virtue by the end of the year, please rest easy knowing that there will be an opportunity in December to obtain one virtue of your choice with event currency.

Imp Training Camp

We hope you all had fun with your imps last month!

The Imp Training Camp event shop will remain open until September 7th, at which point all remaining imp treats will disappear.

New Imp Colors

To celebrate our favorite little companion this month, we've released one new standard imp color per week, for a total of four new colors!

With the new Kinako Dango, imps now possess a natural variant! Each one is unique, with colors and patterns based on real world animals and other elements of nature.

Kinako Dango is now in stock at Dan's Dango, and can also be purchased in the Imp Training Camp event shop.

With that, all four new imp colors have now been released!
