Timothy works the night shift at Burrowgatory Hill Hospital’s blood donation center—a position that was once quite pointless, due to the lack of business in the middle of the night, and that left him perpetually exhausted.

However, during Lord Lagosi’s attempted takeover of Burrowgatory, Timothy was turned into a vampire. After Lagosi's defeat, he chose not to take the cure, as his vampirism makes it easier for him to stay up all night—though he never looks any less tired.

Timothy now helps vampires obtain donated blood legally, through a program that Lady Calla set up as part of her efforts to prevent Burrowgatory from driving them out. For his own new dietary needs, he has an arrangement with the vampire hunter Silver, in exchange for letting him study his vampiric physiology.
