 Rexy Roo is the administrative assistant at The Patch-Up Place, running the front desk and helping with appointments so Oswald can only worry about the hands-on stuff.  Rexy handles appointment scheduling, organizes repair forms, and maintaining the inventory; keeping an eye on supplies like thread, fabric, and stuffing, etc, to prevent any shortages. Beyond the logistics, Rexy often interacts with customers, listening to the stories behind their toys and often adding a bit of humor to lift their spirits if they seem really stressed.

 

Personality wise, Rexy is chatty and outgoing, balancing his friendly nature with a healthy helping of sarcasm and snarkiness. He can be described having a similar vibe of a mature, cool older-brother who enjoys looking out for others, but he can’t resist being a little annoying for fun sometimes. His antics are all in good spirits, he's calm and well-mannered. His newest friend and roommate is a fellow trickster as well, an All Sinners' Eve bun named Ahmed. Despite Ahmed’s peculiarities the two get along quite well. Rexy often says one of the greatest perks of living with Ahmed is watching people's reactions when they discover he shares an abandoned, possibly haunted house with a mummy.

 

Rexy’s edgy, emo aesthetic doesn’t dampen his love for cute fuzzy things! He has a soft spot for stuffed toys and anything with a sad, pouty, pathetic charm, especially if it comes with an edgy twist. Rexy also absolutely loves his job at the toy hospital, he has a deep admiration for his boss, Oswald, respecting his skill and dedication to his work. Though Rexy’s snark and playful teasing might suggest otherwise, he genuinely looks up to Oswald and takes pride in making his job easier.

Rexy mainly exists because of my MASSIVE desire to have a bun inspired/based on the song "Emo Boy" by Ayesha Erotica. I'm serious. It was like an aspiration for months I never got too LMAO.

Again I just pulled from the song, the only thing that isn't accurate description wise is the "My Chemical Romance on his tee"  lyric. And also yes the inches lyric is accurate. I considered putting him in an edgy t-shirt but Shu-Box put these really fun stitching markings I wanted to see on his doll design! So I made him shirtless lol.
