MYO-1458: Jack

Quiet and seemingly distant, Jack is oftentimes seen as an anomaly among his fellow Pride buns. Where others like to surround themselves with the company and adoration of other Succubuns, Jack prefers the simple, quiet life of solitude and peace alongside his husband. Residing on the outskirts of Burrowgatory near the Forneus Sea, Jack prides himself in devoting his time and energy on researching the vast, undocumented marine life that resides in the caverns. To help further along his research Jack and his husband have developed their own personal aquarium residing alongside the Forneus Sea in hopes of attracting more like minded buns who are also fascinated by the depth and wish to be able to observe and study the maritime imps themselves.

Jack is a reserved but studious young Bun, with a strong connection to the ocean and what laid beneath its surface. Regardless of his quiet demeanor, Jack is an extremely kind and helpful soul always wanting to offer a hand and aid those in need. Though this softer nature has resulted in the bun getting taken advantage of on more than one occasion, many outsiders might think that the pride bun is just naive. In truth Jack has seen his fair share of hardships and has a past of cruelty he doesn’t like to talk about, so instead he chooses to focus on the future and the good that he can bring to others by not repeating such an awful cycle.

Due to the nature of unresolved anxiety disorders throughout his youth, Jack tends to struggle with Selective Mutism in his day to day life. Because of this Jack only speaks in situations he’s comfortable in, most of these situations include being around his husband or talking to others about his research. Outside of these cases Jack communicates through a form of Bun Sign Language which consists of a combination of thumping and vocalizations, while resorting to regular Sign language when in his doll form
