Monet is a florist who specializes in customized orders for celebrations. He prefers to work on smaller orders since all his flowers are from his own garden and it is not as large as most commercial retailers use and sell from (but in his opinion, that makes his flowers higher quality because they get better attention and love). He's generally very soft spoken and gentle, which make most assume that he is an introvert but he isn't! Sure, he loves his private time but he loves meeting new people and hearing their stories just as much. He finds that when you're working in flowers, you hear a lot of stories about love and dedication, so you should always be open to listen.
Though he is a florist by trade and focuses most of his time on that, he has other passions that he enjoys! Namely, painting landscapes. The Burrows have a lot of gorgeous scenery when you step out of the city proper and Monet loves to capture them. He isn't one to typically sell them, but he does often give them as gifts to people he cares for or donates them to charity auctions. He also likes to cook and bake but he is...less talented at those admittedly. In fact, he's terrible at both. Luckily, two of his friends are fantastic cooks and keep him from starving by bringing him treats and inviting him to dinner. He returns the favor by helping out in their garden and orchard during harvest.

Design Notes
Monet prefers to be androgynous in the way he presents, often switching between pants and skirts when in doll form. He prefers looser fabrics in most cases for ease of movement with his legs, but he hates wearing anything too short, as he prefers a bit of modesty.
His hair is multi-colored and most often pulled into a braid or ponytail to keep it manageable. All his clothing tends to have patterns and colors that mimic his bun form, as he may not be a very braggy person but he does find himself quite beautiful.
Trivia
- Monet prefers to be in bun form when at home, only really being a doll when being tall is necessary for chores.
- He loves imps and will drop everything to pet one or give one attention.
- His gender presentation is completely androgynous when it comes to clothing, often switching betweens pants, skirts and dresses, but he prefers to keep his anatomy masculine.
- The way to his heart is hand crafted. He isn't materialistic and much prefers gifts made by hand, from the heart.
Relationships
Grouped together because they're basically never apart, these littermates were the first people to welcome Monet to Burrowgatory. They both enjoy his company, and while Cerise is the more friendly of the 2 and talks more with him, Purla still likes spending time with Monet. They sit in comfortable silence.
They both are aware that Monet is currently a bit...kitchenly challenged. They both often walk food over to his place to make sure he is well fed or else he'd live off salads and sandwiches only because, in his words, they're two foods you can't really mess up.

Story
Post-Burrows Life
Monet had a fairly simple and sweet upbringing before he reached his maturity and arrived in the burrows. He doesn't remember much about the demon that raised him, details wise, but he remembers the beautiful gardens that he tended to and would let Monet help with. He'd often be out in them for so long that he'd pass out under one of the flower bushes and would have to be found and put to bed properly later. His natural coloration made him hard to find at times, admittedly, and he'd end up out there all night.
Though he was always down to work hard to help out in the gardens, his demon never made him participate and thus he had a very leisurely time growing up so it was of shock to no one when he developed his sloth horns. He was more sad saying goodbye to the gardens than his demon, as he'd been left mostly to his own devices growing up and there was other buns to care for so they never got too close before it was time for him to leave.
First Time Land Owner
Monet was a bit perplexed and lost when he first entered the burrows, admittedly. They had been given a little money when they were first brought to the burrows by their demon but they weren't entirely sure what they wanted to do, especially since he didn't have anything he thought he was exceptionally good at....besides gardening. There didn't seem to be much flora in The Burrows proper, and Monet was certainly not the city slicker type, but as he wandered and explored, he was able to find a dirt path that lead out of town and into the farming country. While on that walk, he found a piece of land for sale with a broken down, certainly in need of TLC Greenhouse on it. He decided almost immediatley that he'd call the number on the sign and inquire about it. A few days later and about all the carats he brought with him, he was on his way to owning a piece of land and while it took a lot of work, he was eventually able to convert the broken down building into a house with an attached, fresher greenhouse to its side that he used for his new venture, a flower shop.
Present Day
Being a Florist certainly isn't an insanely lucritive buisness venture, especially when you insist on growing or foraging all your own stock instead of using wholesalers, but he makes enough to live comfortably on his own. He may not completely own his land yet, but he makes payments on it regularly and works hard to make sure he's living within his means and growing his client base whenever he can.
He has enough high society buns buying custom arrangements to brighten up their homes that word of mouth from clients is usually enough for advertising, and that makes him very proud. He loves that his dedication to his craft is so well appreciated and even if he wasn't doing well financially, he'd still be happy about what he does alone. His work is his pride and joy, the craft of perfectly blending variants and colors for flowers into the perfect bouquet for someones special occasion is the most fulfilling thing he could possibly be doing.
