HISTORY

Dennis was married, once- to a gorgeous sugar mommy who plucked him from his career and saw to his every whim. She lavished him with affection on the daily, and Dennis was head-over-hooves in love with her. When she got down on one knee and asked him to marry her, how could he possibly have said no? However, when he woke up the morning after the wedding, he did so alone. A hastily-written note explained that his wife wouldn't be coming back; she had found something- or someone- far more interesting. At first, Dennis thought it was some kind of fucked up joke... Atropa had always had kind of an odd sense of humor, after all. However, after waiting days, then weeks, then months for her to come back, the realization hit him that she was dead serious. She had left him with nothing but a cold, empty, bedroom... and also a mansion and millions of carats.

The betrayal left Dennis a surly grouch, and he simultaneously rejected others' attempts to get close to him, while also desperately seeking relationships to replace the one he lost. Within the span of one year, Dennis rushed into and subsequently ended no less than fourteen disastrous relationships before he finally gave up on it entirely. He didn't attempt to return to his career; the thought of it didn't bring him joy, and he no longer needed the money. These days, he mostly just hangs around parks and throws rocks at happy couples.

Although he's slow to trust again, he likes Davis far more than he'll ever publicly admit.

RELATIONSHIPS

DAVIS - BOYFRIEND

Even though Dennis kind of gets the idea that Davis might be using him to fund a gambling addiction, he can't help but care deeply for his latest boyfriend anyway. He turns bright red and denies it in public, but he and Davis are very close.

CHANTI - littermate

Raised like brothers, these two are inseperable. Dennis has Chanti to thank for his current relationship, having met Davis at the yellow bun's imp-racing track.

PANDORA - FRIEND

The witness to Dennis' many failed relationships, Pandora is always there to give him love advice... not all of it good, but she does her best. Ever supportive, even after watching Dennis leap from one disastrous date to another, he's always thankful for her willingness to listen. Even if it's the same sob story again and again...

ATROPA - EX WIFE

Atropa was Dennis' greatest love, his highest priority, and his wife... for one night, at least. This tall drink of water used to bankroll Dennis' life and shower him with affection, until she suddenly lost interest in him, leaving him a wreck. Since she seemingly vanished from the face of the city, he ended up inheriting her assets- but he would've traded all of it and more just to have her back.

GIANT RAT - PET???

Dennis found this thing in the trash cans outside his house, eating the rest of the pizza he'd thrown out the night before. He won't admit it but he is too scared to try and chase it away, it's fucking massive. It eventually got into his house and he doesn't know how to make it leave.
