Finny didn't think that visiting another succubuns home would ever feel as exciting and nerve wrecking as this. The blonde had many friends after all, partly due to his easy going nature and cute face. But that's all they were, he supposed. Friends. And with this particular man, he wasn't quite sure if he could call it that. Just thinking about it he could feel the heat slowly creep into his cheeks. Damn. And then; fortunately (or unfortunately) he didn't get the chance to keep worrying about it.

Lucero had arrived. The taller male looked calm, almost nonchalant as he made his way towards Finny. As if he wasn't the one late to the meeting, and the owner of the home he had been waiting in front of for the past half an hour.

"Yo. Sorry for the wait. Had an emergency." Finny was about to inquire about the nature of that emergency, but quickly reconsidered. Some things he just didn't need to know, and in depth description of gore - even if medical- were high up on that list.

"No worries. I didn't wait that long," he lied, smoothly. Sometimes a cute face had more advantages than one. He just hoped his face had taken on a more normal color again.

Without further conversation, Lucero opened the door to his place. It was dark inside, naturally- and for a moment Finny wondered if the other even used lights. Somehow, the image of him sitting in the darkness amused him. That train of thought didn't last long though as he stepped past the doors threshold and into the room that promptly lit up. And then all the blonde could do was stare. And stare some more. Whatever he had expected, whatever his mind had conjured up over the past week- it certainly wasn't this. Aghast, Finny stared at the first thing he laid eyes on: a shelf, as high as the room. But what got him was what was on that shelf. Something that shouldn't be as unsettling as it was, yet at the same time...strangely adorable.

"You collect .. toys?" He inquired, trying to not sound judgmental.

"No, I don't. Or maybe I do." Lucero almost sounded offended, but his gaze didn't waver. "I collect broken toys. To fix. That's a difference."

Finny nodded slowly. He had to agree. It was weirdly in character for the ex-nurse who still helped people on a daily basis. To think he helped toys of all things at home, though- never in a million years would he have guessed. Plushies upon plushies, some ripped apart or missing a limb, others already stitched back together roughly. Clearly Luceros handiwork. Dolls that were missing hair, or whose faces were crudely painted. It looked...horrifying, frankly, if one didn't know the owner of the collection. Finny knew him, though. And as he let his eyes roam over the shelf, he couldn't help but feel touched. They were no beauties and the work wasn't done skillfully. But they were fixed with love. He could picture it now, Lucero sitting on his desk, fiddling about with abandoned toys...God it made the man even more attractive.

"You good?" Lucero's words snapped him out of his musings. Quickly, Finny averted his gaze to meet that of the other male. Surprisingly, there was something uncertain there. Curious.

"Oh. Yea. Sorry. I was just looking at your collection. It's...cute." That just made Lucero frown. Hard. "Cute in a good way! I mean. It shows you care." Ah, what the hell. No salvaging that one. What Finny did not expect was any further explanation.

"I just think they're not done yet, you know?" The bigger male stepped forward, stroking one plushie on the lower row of the shelf. "They get thrown out real fast if their stuffing shows or something. But I just don't...they're not done. They can still bring someone joy. Is what I believe."

His red eyes gleamed. Passion. He was passionate about this little side gig, and Finny wanted to melt right then and there. He took a tentative step closer.

"You know...that's a good point. They need a home too." His lips curled up into a smile. A warm one. "I wouldn't mind helping you out sometime. I'm pretty good at sewing. Maybe less so at other things, but..." he trailed off, regarding the other with expectation. Five minutes in and already on to securing another da- meeting. And he didn't even have to lie or make excuses. Lucero didn't seem convinced, however.

"Fixing old plushies is probably not very high on your priority list," he pointed out, but there was no malice in his words. "You don't have to force yourself. I'm not in a hurry." But the glint in his gaze told a different story. or mayhap that's what Finny wanted to believe. So he shook his head softly.

"No, I mean it. It'd be fun." And by the demons, he really thought so. If it meant seeing Lucero work on something he was so passionate about, something so private and dear to his heart...then yes. Finny wouldn't mind this at all. In fact, he was already looking forward to it.

"Well, that's then...As for the now- shall we...have a drink?" Finny laughed, nodding.

"I'd love to."
