Dan & Shibani's Chocolate Gift Giving

Dan is preparing his usual stocks of dangos when he looks out of the window of his shop and sees that other succubuns are giving each other flowers and more importantly: chocolates. He has a bit of an idea of giving a certain lazy Succubun who has been living in the back of his shop a box of chocolate since he appreciates the company and the Succubun ain't that bad as the shop eye candy. He closes up his shop and leaves a note for Shibani that he's going out for a while to do some errands for the shop.

Shibani wakes up from his usual nap a few minutes after Dan left the shop and heads out of the back of the dango shop. He looks around the shop to see that it's closed and sees the note that Dan left for him. Since no one is in the shop right now, Shibani feeling a bit too lazy to head out and decides to try to concoct chocolate in the kitchen while Dan is not around since he somehow keeps track of the Matentines this month. Shibani's only wish is that Dan would forgive him for using his kitchen.

Dan is walking towards one of the many chocolate shops in Burrowgatory, specifically the ones that sell custom shaped chocolates since he wants to give Shibani chocolate shaped like pillows and perhaps hearts tied with shibari ropes. He enters one of the chocolate shops and begin to make his orders of the various pillow shaped chocolates and some hearts tied in shibari ropes chocolates, he does sneaked in some mochi shaped chocolate as it reminded him of Shibani's plump behind that he loves to highlight in his many rope art sessions with Shibani whenever the shop is slow on sale.

Shibani on the other hand has managed to find all ingredients and utensils to make chocolate in the kitchen, he did grab some chocolate bars that Dan possibly saved up for his dangos or personal snacks. He starts off by melting the bars of chocolate in a pot on the stove until it's all melted before adding some almonds that he found in the pantry. He grabs a silicone ice tray that is coincidentally in the shape of hearts and slowly pours the chocolate mixture into the ice tray carefully. He decided to take a nap while the chocolates cooled down in the fridge.

Dan waits for his chocolate order to arrive while also browsing some other chocolates in the shop that are ready to be purchased. He sees some chocolate coated strawberries on sale and he decides to buy a small box of it alongside the bigger box of the custom ordered chocolate that he ordered beforehand of Shibani. He does hope Shibani doesn't ruin his kitchen while he's away getting chocolate for the lazy Succubun. Once he gets his chocolates and pays for them, he begins to walk back to his shop, hoping it's still in one piece.

Shibani wakes up from his nap and checks on the chocolate that has finally cooled down enough that it retains its heart shape. He carefully takes the chocolate out one by one and puts it on a plate. He notice that he still have some chocolate left and there is a small container filled with strawberry in the fridge, he decided to heat up the remaining chocolate bars from earlier in the same pot to make some strawberry coated chocolate for Dan when he's back, unknowingly that Dan bought him the exact same thing at the chocolate shop just earlier.

When Dan comes back to his shop, he walks to the kitchen and sees that Shibani has used it when he was away since there are some chocolate stains on the counter and utensils in the sink. He checked on the Succubun to see that he is taking another nap while waiting for him to come home. Dan waits until Shibani wakes up before he gives him the chocolates that he bought for him. Shibani is a bit surprised that Dan bought Matentines chocolates and thanks him before he rushes to the kitchen to grab the chocolates for Dan.

Dan is also surprised that Shibani, despite his constant laziness, managed to make some chocolates for him while he's away and thanks him for it. Both Dan and Shibani spend the rest of the day eating chocolates while cleaning up the mess that Shibani made in the kitchen, well Dan can't stop the fact Shibani power naps through the cleaning but at least by the end of the day, the place is spotless and he did take notes of what ingredients Shibani used so he can restock it later for his dango recipes that he's planning to make the next day.
