"You are so stupid to think that I will remain here just to fucking fix your stupid blankets, Hàoyú." Kazahana muttered as he fumbled the hooks of the crochet sticks that he was holding with his small hands.
Hàoyú rolled his eyes and glared at him. "At least do something productive for the sake of living in my temple. You can't just stay here for free."
"Yeah yeah yeah... to make things fucking fair here." He said while flipping the side of his ears out from his face as he bent down a bit to see if he hooked the yarn properly in a loop. "How many blankets are we making anyway?"
"Enough for the beds in my room, your room, and the guest room."
Kazahana just stared incredulously at Hàoyú while the ghosts that surrounded him twitched and spun around him.
"Just be simple and say three blankets." He said blankly while the grey-haired succubun just shrugs lazily.
"Will do if you stop asking and whining there on your spot." He uttered before pulling a yarn from the spool. "Ah, can you get the green spool over that box by your side?"
Kazahana bent his body to the side and peered over the large box. He gave off a look but asked back to the other greed succubun.
"What green?"
"The light green one."
Kazahan kicks off the box down causing hundred of similar green spools all over the floorboards.
"WHICH FUCKING GREEN?!"
Hàoyú looks up from his quilt as he easily maneeuvers his hands over the crochet sticks. He then looks back to his own work to continue.
"That green by your foot."
Kazahana looks flabbergasted. "There are SEVEN?!"
"The one near your pinky toe."
"What FOOT?!"
"Your left."
"MY LEFT OR YOUR LEFT?!"
Hàoyú just set down his unfinished quilt on the floor as gently as possible, he stood up from his pillow seat approached Kazahana and took the spool by his foot.
He simply returns silently to his pillow seat and resumes crocheting the quilt he is making. With one glance up to look at Kazahana's fuming face, Hàoyú gave off a funny yet smug grin.
"Thanks for the effort."
Kazahana felt the ghosts around his body spurred as he yelled in vain at the top of his lungs, his voice rang out through the entirety of the neighborhood.
Hàoyú just rolls his eyes again and looks over to the side where the kitchen of his temple. "Look, stop fuming and I will make some tofu dishes for you if you finish making the quilt."
"You think that is easy?! You wasted my time just telling me on what spool and-"
Kazahana gestured his hands down where the similar green spools were laid on the floorboards.
"Why the hell do you even have hundreds of similar-looking spools here?! Are you obsessed with green?!" He asked incredulously as he kicked one of the spools out of the window.
There is a sharp hiss that replies as a familiar hot-mouthed sceil slithers out of the window. A small bump on its head and it is breathing fire aggressively.
"Ah, great. Kaz, can you just calm your imp down? My egghel is squirming in fear." Hàoyú said while his eyes remain on to his blanket that he still works on. Lu, the egghel, is rocking back and forth behind Hàoyú with a teary look on its eyes as it tries to sleep peacefully in its eggshell.
"Ugh!" Kazahana groans and offers his hand up for the sceil to slither towards him. It coiled around his arm before raising its tail to slap his face. "Oh come on you little fuck?!"
Hàoyú let out a simple hum. His fingers efficiently and gracefully hooking and looping the yarn with his crochet sticks. The background noise of Kazahana's groans and spurs of foul language echoed in the room as he strangles his angry sceil.
He gives off a knowing glance to Kazahana. "You must have loved Orochi so much."
"Fuck off, I am busy here Hàoyú!!!" Kazahana yelled before Orochi slithers off his hands and pounced around his neck to strangle him back.
Hàoyú just shakes his head in amusement before looking down to knit the forest-designed blanket he made for himself. The sounds of choking. hisses, and curses were thrown at each other while Hàoyú admires his work and glances back at Lu.
"Do you want me to make one for you little buddy?" Hàoyú asked in a very soft and playful tone.
The egghel rocked back and forth on the pillow allowing Hàoyú to smile and nod in understanding. "Nice, you want a cloud design or a star design? I can only make those with my crochet sticks."
He offers two pictures to his egghel, there are still loud curses erupting in the air as Kazahana and his sceil fought. The egghel bobbed its head towards the stars design and Hàoyú nodded.
"You have such an eye in detail little buddy." He cooed before he grabs a green spool from the side to begin a new blanket. "Oh and..."
Hàoyú looks up to see Kazahana already wrestled off his pet sceil who left bite marks on his face. The gray succubun blinks and sighed. "Kazahana, I will take over your blankets. Just clean the courtyard will you?"
"Huh? You don't want me to do my own blankets?"
"You just never get to have work done so do the more simple tasks before dusk settles." Hàoyú huffed before continuing. "You always complain anyways. Oh and here..."
He offers the green forest-designed blanket to Kazahana who scrutinizingly grabs it.
"Fold that up and put that in my room, will you? It is easier than making one." He said before Kazahana wraps the blanket around himself with a scoff and walks off, allowing the ends of the blanket to drag off on the floor.
Hàoyú just stares at Kazahana silently before grumbling to himself.
"That... ugh... I have to clean that off too."
Kazahana and Hàoyú are trying to make blankets and an unlikely fight ensues.
