[PROMPT] Strange Cravings

Ignition is very unsure about this.

This time of year there are the most insane food combinations going around, Which is obvious since buns have super strange desires and cravings especially during the pregnancy period. Thankfully Ignition is not knocked up, nor are his partners. So...in reality he has no real reason or excuse to be staring at the weirdest food combos he has ever seen. To his right, Guinevere is glancing over some of the options on the cart in front of them. Damon never humours him with this stuff, Aria and Rowan are busy, so he has dragged Gwen in because he knows what shes like.

The insane thing was how many carts and popups there were all in one space. Lining edges of parks. Street, Pavement and Roadside stalls, Even local shops had whacky limited flavourings in. The most normal thing about this place was probably Dans classic milk mochi at this point. Gwen is looking over savoury options while Ignition is clearly beelining for any sugary or sweet delicacy he can gawk at.

"Do you really think some of this stuff tastes super good if you're pregnant? Like you eat it and its the best most comforting food to you in the moment?" Gwen hums as she eyes a menu of noodle based dishes.

"Probably. I dunno if you'd still enjoy it after delivery though, Might suddenly change ur tastebuds opinions on the matter" His flames ebb softly along with his thoughts

"I think i'm gunna try the spiced waterweed plum noodles." Gwen nods with finality and confidence. Ignition looks over the menu for that stall.

Its a mixture of tofu, noodle, pasta and pizza combinations. He notices a fiery pizza combo and decides to get it for Damon so he can watch the man suffer, just briefly. He also does this so he can help Gwen with her ordering anxiety. She has work after this, though its not for a while, so he can drop it off along with her before going off to find J.C to do some 'actual work'. Whatever the hells that means!

They move along from the stall to pick and prod at a few others. There were chilled ice-cream like stalls and some of those flavours made Ignition seriously consider the sanity of some chefs for a few minutes today. They hit a mochi based cart and Ignition has already been ensnared. He can make his own crazy combos, sure, but why would he do that? He notices a few really strange ones that remind him of his partners so he decides to take a three for two deal and get a couple.

Finally they take seating so he can watch intently as Gwen hastily bites into her first taste of noodles.

She chews, and frowns and chews. Her eyes narrow behind her fringe as she takes in whats going on in her mouth. She puts a finger to her cheek and tilts her head into it slightly. "Hmmm....Its good i think. Not something i would eat regularly for sure but! Its not gross, I can probably finish it!" She concludes her analysis and Ignition snorts a little in amusement at her approach. "Now you!!"

"So the veg mixed with the spice and plums isnt making you gag?" He asks, grimacing and Gwen shakes her head as she takes another mouthful.

He opens the mochi box and glances over the flavours picked out.

Demon pepper strawberry swirl with cream and salsa, Lime Cocoa Salted [with...nuts? and pickle flavourings?] and Rum Cherry Souffle. They were just fancy names of course but...the flavours did make him a little cautious. On the savoury side, outside of the pizza for Damon he also got a mint cheese cracker set which he is...extremely on the fence about. He pulls out the lime cocoa salted [with pickle and nuts] and decides that this is where he'll take one for the team.

You would think he'd want the demon pepper based mochi, since the natural flavour is one of his favourites...but he got it because of Aria and he can always try it with her instead of eating it without letting her try any. The rum one was of course for Rowan, Since nothing could remind him more of the bun than rum and cherry. He gives an uncertain glance to the mochi in his hand before angling it to find the prime biting spot.

He gives it a moment before taking a bite out of it and chewing slowly. It also takes a few seconds before his face wrinkles a little and his chewing becomes slow and very unimpressed. Gwen laughs into her hand.

"Oh? Not as exciting as you thought?" She asks and he swats at her.

"Its....Not the best combo...." He mumbles around his sad mochi mouthful and she laughs again. "Lime and salt is already a no, but the cocoa makes up for it...the nuts are not welcome and the pickle is CERTAINLY not welcome, why put pickle??!"

At least the other three can't be as bad...right?
