[Prompt] A normal workday

"Timeless" is an antique shop tucked between ancient buildings on a lesser-frequented street of Burrowgatory. It looks unremarkable in every aspect compared to its neighbors, humble with little to no decoration on the outside save for a small plate with its own name jutting out from the front wall and a potted plant by its door. Three panes of glass windows with the curtains always half-drawn provide little of what is inside: a standing rack with odd-looking things on display, a stack of books on the counter further back, and dim yellow light. Despite all that, if one decides to open the door and enters the shop, they’ll find themselves venturing into a whole new world.

"Behold," Huckleberry says cheerily, hands carefully put a table clock they’s been holding down on the counter surface. "The Golden Strauss."

The customer, a gentleman bunny in an impeccable suit, leans forward."Yes? What about it?", he asks, voice hints of curiosity and anticipation.

Huckleberry's smile widens and their purplish eyes shine brightly as they begin to give him a story of this clock's origin, how it survives the test of time and how it ends up in their little antique shop. The customer seems to be captivated by their telling, listening attentively, injecting questions here and there, awing alongside the black-haired shop owner at the incredulous event this clock has gone through. And in the end, he is extremely happy to make the purchase, bringing home the golden clock.

Being left in silence, the young succubun looks around their shop and breathes in deeply, before setting off to do some dusting. They cannot leave any of their antiques unattended. They are all very precious to Huckleberry: the marvelous stories the antiques carry, the utter beauty of their perfect imperfections, the timeless value of their existence. Huckleberry doesn’t just collect these antique items for the sake of reselling them; they do so because of the history each of the little, sometimes big, things has in store. They want to know all about the origins, to take care of the objects, to value them, and to sell them to only those who actually recognize their worth beyond the price tags.

Admiring the shininess of a copper teapot, carved in and painted on it are intricate swirl patterns, Huckleberry hums in satisfaction as they put down the cloth which has just been used to clean it. They got this from a trader on their trip to the Outskirt. It was quite pricey, and they had to spend more conservative on their food later on if they wanted to have enough money to travel back home, but it was all worth it. The trader was nice enough to listen attentively to their little stuttering voice - Huckleberry just can’t function properly once they step outside their shop, and told them so much about the teapot.

Huckleberry moves on to dust another antique, a statue this time, chipped away in places because of time and the events it has gone through. On and on, they clean around, enjoying their time within the confines of their beloved shop. And when the bell jingles, announcing the arrival of a new guest, Huckleberry turns around with a smile on their lips:

“Welcome to the Timeless.”
