"Yves and I saw so many cute animals in Japan!

The internet-famous family of ring seals at the Osaka Aquarium are Yves' favorite... We were lucky enough to catch their daily feeding show, and of course we had to go home with a giant plush version of the seal Arare.

The deer in Nara really do bow to you to get rice crackers, and they're everywhere! Be careful feeding the ones that hang out right around the rice cracker carts, though, because they're extremely aggressive about getting their crackers... One of them bit me when I tried to stop feeding her.

We stayed at a hotel in Shibuya for most of our trip, so of course we had to pay a visit to the famous Hachiko statue. Such a bittersweet story... Of course, it was packed with tourists, haha.

Our night on Ōkunoshima, also known as Rabbit Island, was one of our most memorable. We got to feed and pet so many wild rabbits, including a pure white one who looked like Shibani's doppelgänger. The funniest moment was when we saw a man feeding a HUGE crowd of rabbits out of a bag embroidered with "Usa Eats" in the style of the Uber Eats logo, playing on the Japanese word "usagi" (rabbit). Did he work for Rabbit Island? Did he make the bag himself because he was just that dedicated to feeding the rabbits...?"
