Beach Wear Musings

For the time being Malakai was spending his time mostly in his bun form or in just his pants in his doll form. It wasn't the best but got the heat a bit more tolerable and it got the job done for what he needed it to. Still, unhappy he was. He needed something more... ruffian-y while also refined and sturdy. Something brand new that was going to withstand his activities and lifestyle while also making him look like the man had just crawled on shore from a shipwreck. 

 

Yet still fashionable and classy. One couldn't forget the class. 

 

While Kai loved nothing more than to look like a ruffian pirate he also wanted to have his distinguished position be apparent. After all, one never knows when a potential suitor might pass by. Or even a new crewmate for his trading guild. One's got to always take care of their image after all, stylistic preferences aside. 

 

With days into the heat, the bun eventually gave up on what he could find on the beach, in his own ship, from his nearby connections and the occasional passerby-buns. So he took some goods and headed to get himself a custom-tailored little something. A few really. Some of his relations had been so kind as to introduce Malakai to some of their more fashion-oriented friends around Burrowgatory and Kai was more than ready to go meet them all. His plan was to give them all his requirements towards the garments and wait to see what they came up with. After all he could only walk around in his pants for so long before despairing at his oh-so-tragic circumstances.

 

And thus a week passed by. With their boss away the rest of the merchants on deck were still taking care of all the market needs the Forneus Sea area could possibly need. They were more than capable of taking care of things on their own for a fair while. Still, they had started falling behind due to being understaffed. There were only so many of them, after all, and the droves of Succubuns coming to the beach seemed neverending and constantly larger. 

 

Regardless, it was good business. 

 

Eventually, Malakai was seen on the horizon, along with the few others he had taken along and dragging what seemed to be a decent amount of supplies behind him. It seemed business had gone well. The tentacle-adorned bun also seemed quite chipper in a brand new outfit; he had some worn-looking swimming trunks on, along with a sash tied around his waist. The merchant's hair was also decorated with new embellishments and his neck, wrists and ankles all sported some new necklaces and bracelets. Things made from seashells, teeth, woven thread... some very interesting and exotic-looking while other ordinary and worn by the tides. 

 

Overall, he looked like a man of the sea but also didn't.
