Dead of Night -The End

Chester woke up and felt dizzy, he had a terrible headache and felt really sick in the gut. He looked around and seemed to be inside of an old mansion. It was the Vampire’s Mansion he was bitten by Lord Lagosi in. His memory came back in bits, there was a huge fight, Silver…Dove…and Lord Lagosi was on the ground, twitching...then all went black. Chester let out a grunt, he was alone, all others seemed to have left before him. With wobbly legs and way slower than normal, Chester managed to walk home. He fell into his bed and let out a sigh. He felt extremely terrible, physically and mentally.

A Knock could be heard at his door. Chester ignored it, he would deal with people later. The person knocked again, Chester didn't move.
Then a key could be heard clicking into his lock. Chester raised his head, the only other person who had a key for his house was Oleander…
It was probably Mercy who found his key and wanted to return it..
Chester curled up in his bed, Mercy would probably just leave the key on the hallway table or something.
A soft voice could be heard.
“Chester..?” It sounded like Oleander.
But that wasn’t possible right?
“Great…I must’ve died. If Oleander is here I must be in heaven though, that doesn’t make sense at all…I probably hit my head really hard and am still lying around in that old mansion.” Chester muttered to himself.
Oleander carefully opened the door to Chesters bedroom.
“Here you are~” he said softly, happy to find his lover mostly unharmed.
“Oleander…? How…what?” Chester said and carefully sat up.
“Am I…is this..real?” he added with a slight panic.
Oleander sat down next to Chester and gently put a hand on his head.
“I don’t really know how all this happened or…what exactly happened, but I woke up and..I am fine, well aside from all that happened.” he said with a slight smile, he could:t talk about the whole Vampire thing and he didn't knew that Chester met Lord Lagosi himself so he decided not to tell Chester the truth.
Chester hugged Oleander tightly and cried in relief. He couldn’t believe his beloved priest was back, unharmed and well.
“Mercy told Burrowgatory yesterday that I was back…where were you?” Oleander then asked with slight concern.
“Oh..I was in that old Mansion…that Vampire bit me…but I woke up mortal again. It was so weird…I don’t even know what really happened. I just woke up a few hours ago and then immediately went home…I didn't know you were back..” Chester said, apologizing.
“Oh It's okay dear, We're both unharmed and back together, that's all that counts~” Oleander said, he promised to Silver not to tell anyone about the Vampires REALLY existing. He gently rubbed Chester back.
“Everything is okay now…”

Oleander and Chester spend the rest of the day together, cuddling and calming down from the stress of the past days.
